Hey! New Term…
Whoa! Can you believe it? The term break which is named as holiday had already been forced to be thrown into the rubbish bin. But, I do really miss it! Do all of you in the same state at me- missing this term break?
I have a lot to share! Well, let’s start with my trip to San Francisco. I went on to an airplane which I have stay over night on. After that, I finally reached my first destination! My Uncle and Aunt fetched us to their home- which has a huge garden and is a two storey ‘bungalow’. Then we went to a huge supermarket and bought a lot of things for our trip to Los Angeles. We bought a pack of water, in bottles, and there are about 90 bottles.
The next day, we went to Fishermen Wharf! There were a lot of things to shop when we were walking along the shops opposite the fishermen wharf. We had lunch at the In-N-Out Burger! It was delicious! The meat is not like those in McDonalds and Burger King. The meat is really fresh cooked. The bread uses sponge flour and when you bite on the bread, it goes ‘crunch’, ‘crunch’. And the meat is very soft. YUMMY YUMMY! At night, we had an Italian burrito for dinner.
The next day, we carry on our journey. But unfortunately, I got stomach flu and vomit and got diarrhea! But we still have to continue on our exciting journey, right? My uncle rent a car and drove us to Los Angeles. The ride lasted for about four hours! Finally we reached! We went to eat dinner at ‘Subway’, a food store where Singapore has too. I only had a small chicken noodle. But I didn’t really have the appetite that night.
The next morning… we went to Universal Studio! First, we took a ride on the studio tour. We went into two studios. The first one was actually quite exciting. We saw ‘King Kong’s’ head popping out and got hold of a jet. The on the other side, we experienced a fire! It is really HOT! Then we went through all the backgrounds which last time, those American movies used. Afterwards, we went into another studio. This time, the ‘car’ shakes from side to side! We were experiencing ‘earthquake’! We were ‘in’ a ‘Bart’ (which is actually train) station! Then, a train came smashing down and an oil tank too!
Our next stop is… you are right! DISNEYLAND! Whoa! I bought 3 dolls there! I am so happy! I played a lot of games. We even took a little boat and went through where all the princesses’ castle and homes are! They are actually miniature! And we also took a ride (on a boat) to the ‘Small small world’! It was fantastic!
The next day arrived, and we finally have to leave the Disneyland! We are heading for… Las Vegas! The place where people only know how to… dump money into the jackpot machines! We had our two days at ‘Circus Circus’, our hotel. It was very cheap staying there and it really counts as a five star hotel! We shop through four hotels and of course, we bought a lot of things. My sister bought a lot of key chains which she actually doesn’t have so many places to hang them. Then we finally had to leave. My uncle and aunt drove ten hours back to San Francisco. We started off at day and end off a night!
The second last day in San Francisco, we spent it at an outlet where all those sports sport were located and all the brands like Gucci were also located there. At night, we went bowling with my cousin’s friends. We indeed had a great time.
When we finally had to leave, at the morning, my uncle made us some Japanese soba. It was delicious! (I like to eat Japanese food.) We finally had to leave! Bye San Francisco!
And back to… come on, guess guys! Yes, you are right! And we are back to Hong Kong, but only for a week (because school is starting). My uncle and aunt brought my baby cousin to welcome us. At night, we had dinner with my maternal side. Then my father wanted to drive my youngest uncle home. On the way, I had a sudden stomach pain. I bear it for a long time before I cried and pressed hard on my stomach. My mother had a shock and we had to drop off my uncle on the way. We hurried back and I actually went into the stinky toilet for a long time. For the next three days, I went to my father’s office and did not follow my mother to shop. Finally, the holiday ended. And I took the plane back here, Singapore.
Here I am again, Singapore. I still had a lot work that I haven’t accomplished yet. Too bad, I just belong here.
