Scenario 2:

As usual, Tommy had forgotten to do his homework again. It was his fifth time in the week. Yesterday he had a big scolding form his form teacher, Mrs. Stern. She threatened to send him for caning if he would forget again. When Tommy reported to her that he had forgotten again, Mrs. Stern brought him to a room. After ten minutes, there was a loud scream. Tommy ran out crying. He was holding a long and thick cane in his hand.

In the room:

“Tommy, why did you forget to bring your homework again? You are going to get caning from me today!” Mrs. Stern said to Tommy with rage and fury, brandishing the threatening cane in her palms.

“Sorry teacher, I promise you I will bring it tomorrow! Please don’t cane me…” Tommy pleaded for mercy as he sobbed, tears started to trickle down his cheeks.

“I don’t want any empty promises to be made. Now come here.” Mrs. Stern bellowed in a thunderous tone, ready to cane Tommy.

Suddenly, a gigantic cockroach flew into the room, swooping towards Mrs. Stern. “Ah! Ah! Help!” Mrs. Stern yelled her lungs out, stomping her feet on the ground and waving the cane around, trying in vain to scare the cockroach away.

Tommy took this golden opportunity and snatched the cane from Mrs. Stern. “I got the cane! I got the cane! “Tommy whacked hardly on Mrs. Stern and turned to run away.

“Sorry, Mrs. Stern. I can’t control myself…”Tommy cried regretfully as he fled from the room with the cane, hearing Mrs. Stern’s hysterical and frantic screams.
