DHSY4 OBS 2011

Day 01
We gathered in ISH at approx. 7.20am? Then we boarded the bus as a watch (together with our buddy watch - watch 14) I had so much fun laughing with Zoe and Clara!! :D Reached the OBS station and waited for the ferry (?) to fetch us ... talked quite a bit with the girls in Elizabeth & clara. At that point of time I was kinda dreading OBS cos' I'm afraid I cannot take all the heat & activities ):
Boarded the ferry, didn't really know anyone yet so our watch didn't talk much among ourselves.. Reached the OBS campsite 1 soon enough (I didn't even get to sleep on the way wtheck) and got to know our instructor Fais (YOU ROCK FAIS!)
We settled down in our Store and Janell & I volunteered to be the store I/C so we were in-charge of the items in the store. Before we organised the store, we had some bonding time :) We were all sweaty already lah, can totally smell everyone. Haha!
Tried belaying & it was so much fun!! Almost got lifted off the ground when I wanted to bring Anthea down haha!! Wasn't that scary actually! but need quite a bit of strength luh.
Packed the store & headed to the canteen for lunch ~ packed our rations afterwards and kept them in the blue bins in the store... Went off soon enough to pitch our tents I guess if I didn't remember wrongly. Pitching was so tiring!! & so many mosquitoes, ants, insects wtheck.
Went for field-cooking which was pretty fun, we managed to cook rice!! Awesome Watch 13!!
Oh yeah bad thing happened then: My hair got caught in the portable fan (which I brought to OBS) and cried so much.... ); felt so weak then cos' I was crying in front of my watch & instructor!! In the end I kind of cut that bunch of hair and tore some out ): but the lucky thing is I HAVE NO BALD PATCH :/
Headed to our tents at around 10+pm and talked a lot with Anthea & Janell (Zoe fell asleep soon enough after we reached our tents wtheck. And it's bloody hot in there ): )
Day 02
Went for PT with Nehru (buddy watch) first thing in the morning & breakfast afterwards. Then it was KAYAKING!! I was pretty afraid of capsize drill ): Partnered with Jiayi and she kinda gave me confidence so we capsized & I have to admit. The sea is damn dirty and seawater is super salty ): but okay lah we kayaked quite far from the island & played catching on sea. REALLY FUN! I manage to stand on the kayak on sea too!! :D
We went to do climbing! So stupid I could only climb until the net-part on the outer tower ): but it was so much fun cos' I belayed for Jiayi (oh gosh she's a great climber) and talked with ZhangChe (he's hilarious!)
We packed up and headed off to Campsite 2 after trekking approx. 2km? Trekked with Clarakhoo I MISS HER SHO MUCH ):
Got scolded by Fais for not following instructions cos' a few of us went to bathe :/ hehe I washed my hair at the sink cos' I didn't bring my toiletries ): Slept at approx. 11pm & talked to Anthea about so much stuff!!

Day 03
Woke up in Campsite 2 and prepared to leave for our Land Expedition!! Not that bad lah!! Got closer to Elizabeth & Anthea got a little headache during the hike ): poor thing sigh
I really love carrying the bagpack I feel so stable while walking!! I keep tripping over rocks/stones while walking w/o a badpack! We saw a monitor lizard & wildboar!!!! So cool rightz~
Woke up feeling a little emoz cos' it's our last day!! packed our store once again & ohno we kind of lose a bagpack ($100++) :/ which is really bad hehehe
had some time on our own to write our reflections & went to throw stones at beach afterwards with Anthea, Sekee & ZhangChe. I picked a seashell for Zoe :)
oh yeah the other groups did jetty jump!! So cool!! :D our watch didn't get to do it though :/
Lunched at canteen again! And ZhangChe was down with a bad fever ): he looked so sick we were all so worried for him!! ):
oh yeah after lunch we went to the OBS souvenir shop & I bought a OBS shirt!! I LOVE THE SHIRT! <3
took mrt home with my bro ZC afterwards- felt so shagged but still went out for dinner hehx :)

This is today... Got Jazz Improvisation for my electives and went home with Benw afterwards! The elective was not bad! instructor pretty friendly. Just that most of the time I have no idea what I was playing cos' the others were all so zai (y) felt so noob leh ...
I can't wait for Sunday to come although I'll miss my watch-outing and CIP and what not ):
I wannna see my watch together again so badly ): I want cry alr luh
