About the camp…

The camp was average, I think. I mean it is not so bad but… how do I say it? Okay, I learnt a lot at the camp. We can apply them when there is a group work. I learnt that we must cooperate with each other in a team; we must be persisting and must communicate with our group members.

Actually, I do have some dislike about this camp (sorry to say that!). I don’t like it when we have to assemble at the main tent where group one (my team) got to sit on the sand. And there are a lot of ants (red and black; big and small)! I don’t dare to sit on it so I decided to squat. And after a few minutes, I need to stand up and stretch. I also don’t like it when we have to walk so far to the canteen and have our food. When we finish eating, and refilled our energy, we’ve got to walk back. When we reach the main tent, we have no more energy because we’ve use up all of them on the way… I don’t like the shower too. We’ve got to rush all along and we have to wait to get into the changing room. I am not clean and I felt uncomfortable. My hair surely stinks that time!!!! Ha Ha!

I like those games that Instructor Herdi (my trainer) taught our group. They were fun and nice. He taught us some camp songs that are not taught to us for the presentation night. He is a good trainer I can say. He is humorous but sometimes he is strict and fierce. I remember one time group one is noisy and we wouldn’t sit in twos. He decided to let us sat for about fifteen minutes before we play some games. So we got to wait till he decided to let us go.

The foods that are provided at the canteen were nice. I like the lunches that we had. They were yummy (oh! I feel hungry now!). The suppers were nice too. I like the Milo and green bean soup! But I don’t understand why the camp chief doesn’t let us go to the toilet and wash our cutleries. But it is alright now because the camp had ended! YIPEE!

I learnt to treasure my house more! Ha Ha! And I learnt to treasure boiled water. We have to drink tap water at the primary 5 camp. The camp chief said that 98% of the water is clean and 2% is not clean. I don’t dare to drink them at first. But later on, I have no more water so I’ve got to drink the tap water. After I drank them, I got a little stomach ache. I am not very sure whether it is safe to drink that water or not…
Okay then. I will end here and have a nice day!
